1. Nature of the Tool
AuraPlayer (the "App") is a media playback and management tool. The App does not bundle, provide, store, or distribute any audio, video, or programming content or live signals. Posters, synopses, ratings, and other information shown in the interface are publicly available third-party metadata and do not indicate that the App provides the corresponding content.
2. Content Sources Are the User's Responsibility
All content you play through the App (local files, NAS storage, cloud drives, IPTV/live-source playlists you add yourself, etc.) is provided or designated by you. You must ensure that you have lawful rights to such content and its sources, and you bear all legal responsibility arising from them. The developer does not filter, review, or control such content, and assumes no obligation to review any third-party source added by users.
3. Metadata and Artificial Intelligence
The App's library organization (scraping) feature relies on AI models and third-party metadata such as TMDB. Results may be inaccurate, outdated, or inconsistent with the actual content, and are provided for reference only.
4. Service Availability
Some features depend on networks and third-party services (including metadata services, cloud services, and Apple services). Interruptions, changes, or unavailability of those services (including force majeure events) may cause features to malfunction. We are not liable for such events and do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
5. Data Security and Backups
Media files and data stored on your devices or NAS belong to you and are managed by you. Regular backups are recommended. The App is not liable for data loss caused by device failure, misuse, third-party storage, or force majeure.
6. Third-Party Rights
Any third-party trademarks, names, posters, and metadata appearing in the App belong to their respective owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App; nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of this disclaimer.
