AuraPlayer Terms of Service

  • Effective Date: October 13, 2026
  • Developer: AppFlowStudio

Welcome to AuraPlayer (the "App"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall and stop using the App.

In case of discrepancy among translated versions of these Terms, the English version prevails.

1. Description of the Service

The App is a media playback and management tool. It provides playback of local and network storage media (such as NAS via SMB/WebDAV), AI-based library organization (scraping), lossless audio playback, screen casting, and playback of playlists you add yourself (such as M3U/M3U8 live sources).

The App does not bundle, provide, store, or distribute any audio, video, or programming content. All content played through the App comes from files, storage, or third-party services that you own or are authorized to access.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions: annual and monthly plans. Prices are as displayed in the App Store and may vary by country or region;
  • We may adjust prices for new subscriptions from time to time; price adjustments do not affect the renewal of active subscriptions at the price currently applicable to them, and adjusted prices are as displayed in the App Store;
  • New users may be eligible for a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically begin charging;
  • Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not handle payments and cannot manage your subscription. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow Apple's rules: manage or cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via "Settings – Apple Account – Subscriptions";
  • While your subscription is active, you may use the App on multiple devices under the same Apple Account (including Apple TV and Mac versions released later);
  • If you enable Family Sharing for the subscription through Apple, the scope and rules of sharing follow Apple's settings;
  • Refunds: All payments are collected by Apple and we cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support; whether a refund is granted is decided by Apple.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction;
  • Be solely responsible for the legality of all content and sources you play, store, or add (including but not limited to files, NAS data, and live-source links), and refrain from accessing or distributing content that infringes others' rights or violates the law through the App;
  • Not reverse engineer, send malicious requests to, or otherwise abuse the App's server APIs;
  • Not use the App to harm the developer, other users, or any third party.

If you breach the foregoing commitments or abuse the App's services (including malicious requests or bulk API scraping), we may apply rate limiting, or suspend or terminate the service without prior notice; any resulting loss is borne by you.

4. Nature of the AI Scraping Feature

The scraping feature relies on AI models and third-party metadata (TMDB) and matches results on a best-effort basis. Results may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and are provided for informational organization purposes only.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The App's software, interface design, and related rights belong to the developer;
  • Metadata is sourced from TMDB: This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB;
  • The App includes open-source third-party components; see the Open Source Licenses page;
  • Product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

6. Changes and Termination of the Service

You acknowledge and agree that we may adjust, suspend, or terminate the service for business, technical, or legal reasons, with advance notice where reasonably possible. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; this does not affect subscription obligations already incurred (handled under Apple's rules).

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;
  • We are not liable for service disruptions caused by network conditions or third-party services (including TMDB, cloud providers, or your content sources);
  • We are not liable for service interruptions or losses caused by force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, changes in laws or regulations, cyberattacks, or telecom infrastructure failures), but will use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact;
  • See the Disclaimer for details.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect damages, loss of data, or loss of profits, and our aggregate liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring a claim before the competent court at the developer's place of domicile.

9. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect;
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding use of the App;
  • We may revise these Terms and publish updates on this page, with material changes communicated appropriately. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revisions.
